Superbase Cheers On Jersey City at the 2026 JC Families Kids Run

Jersey City, NJ — May 11, 2026. Superbase, Downtown Jersey City's home for kids' sports, classes, parties, and active play, is proud to participate in the 2026 JC Families Kids Run on Saturday, May 16th. Our coaches and team will be on the ground to cheer on every young runner crossing the finish line — and to high-five the parents who got them there.

The JC Families Kids Run is one of the most beloved community events in our city: hundreds of kids of all ages lacing up their sneakers, running their hearts out, and discovering — many for the first time — what it feels like to set a goal, train for it, and crush it. That's everything we believe in at Superbase.

Why this matters to us

We opened Superbase with one mission: make it ridiculously easy for kids in Jersey City to be active, social, and confident. A short run on a Saturday morning might look small, but for a 6-year-old it can be the start of a lifelong relationship with movement, teamwork, and trying hard things. We want to be there for that moment.

Jersey City is a dense, growing, beautifully diverse city — and our kids deserve world-class spaces to play, train, and grow. Events like the JC Families Kids Run remind us that fitness isn't just gyms and gear; it's community showing up for kids in the street.

Look for the Superbase tent and our coaches in green and cyan along the course and at the finish line. We'll have:

Run with us, play with us

To keep the post-race energy going, Superbase is offering every JC Families Kids Run family a free Open Gym session at our 157 1st Street facility on race day (May 16) — drop in before the run to warm up, or come after to celebrate with friends in our 7,500 sq ft indoor playspace.

Race-day offer: Show your JC Families Kids Run bib at the Superbase front desk on Saturday, May 16, and get a free Open Gym session for your runner (and a sibling discount for the rest of the crew). Optional: book a free spot ahead of time on our calendar.
